The final voting in the 'Discover e-volunteering' competition is open! Meet the Finalists, choose your favaorite ones and help them win resources to develop their projects. This year we award not only existing projects, but also ideas for new corporate volunteering projects!

‘Discover e-volunteering’ is the only contest in Poland and Europe that rewards and promotes projects, in which NGOs cooperate with volunteers providing assistance through the Internet. The second edition of the competition has been extended by a new category – organisations could submit ideas for new projects of e-volunteering, performed by professionals who share their knowledge, skills and hobbies with NGOs and other recipients.
We received 72 applications (49 in old category and 23 in the new one) from 24 countries. Each application is a great source of e-volunteering ideas! Internet “time bank”, free advice on the Web, virtual map of places marked as unfriendly for disabled people, or promotion of proper use of language – these are just some of the many activities on the Web!
International Selection Committee has selected 13 most interesting initiatives – now is your turn! The online voting is open until April 30, 2013.
Go to http://www.e-volunteering.eu/en/discover/vote.html, read the descriptions of the finalists’ projects and choose 3 projects (2 from the existing projects and 1 from new ideas), which according to you are the most valuable and deserve a financial reward for further development. Remember – you can vote every day from 8th to 30th April 2013.
The official announcement of the winners of the Competition ‘Discover e-volunteering’ will take place in June during the Final Gala in Warsaw.
