The effects of 1st European edition of the ‘Discover e-volunteering’ Competition were amazing! We’ve received over 80 applications to the Competition from organizations from 19 European countries. They are perfect examples of various e-volunteering activities happening on the Web: free Web counseling, forming assistance and self-help groups, e-tutoring, sharing professional skills and knowledge through the Net, e-charity, searching for information and many more!

The International Selection Committee has chosen the best 12 initiatives. Then over 18,000 Internet users voted for the best e-volunteering projects in the public online poll. See, who the winners are!

International Selection Committee

Among 81 entries that were submitted to the ‘Discover e-volunteering’ competition, 71 met formal criteria and are now being analysed by the International Selection Committee. The Committee will choose from 9 to 12 best initiatives that will be presented to the public in an on-line poll that will take place from October 12th to November 3rd.
